I do believe this team will look drastically different next season and Bane could be moved

This team definitely needs a reset

On the low they miss Dillon Brooks, Kyle Anderson and Steven Adams....those guys along with Melton and Tyus Jones were a big part of creating the identity of the team and they never really replaced them

When you break it down look who they let go…lol

All tough minded vets and dirty work players

team is a shell of itself yeah I agree

Bane first to go and then it’ll be Ja

JJJ probably will be the only one left which is fine they just need to put a bruising big next to him

Scotty will be the starting PG in the future

They waited too long...I give them credit for going after KD and Jimmy but they should've been consolidated

I feel like once you trade Ja you might as well go with the full rebuild

I've said before Jarren is probably best suited as your 3rd best player

Not sure about KD

Jimmy it was some combination of Clarke, Smart, Konchar, Laravia and picks


They weren't offering up a whole lot because it was just going to be a rental with no intention of extending which is why he didn't want to go

That’s a nasty package too lol

Hmm wonder what KD was but probably similar in the sense that none of the grizzlies’ big 3 were involved

Probably threw in wells or GG for KD

I haven't seen anything reporting that Bane, Ja or Jarren have ever been discussed for anyone but I expect that to change this summer

Grizzlies ownership absolutely loves Ja Morant so I think we're still a ways away from him being shopped

I think they really want to retool around their big 3 and give it another try before making a big trade....Grizzlies are in a weird space

I understand retooling around these guys but my whole thing is idk if these 3 are talented enough for the grizzlies to be contenders in 2026 with their big 3 being those 3 players

With a new coach also

I completely agree, that's why they're in such a weird space

If Ja is playing like he was 3-4 seasons ago than yes Bane and Jarren are good enough to get you to a conference finals, probably not win a championship though....but better than getting steamrolled by OKC in the first round


Problem is Ja has been a shell of himself and Jarren and Bane are actually better than him at this point so if those are you're two best players you aren't going anywhere

Like Desmond bane being apart of a “Big 3” speaks for itself

they could maybe get away with it if they were to consolidate to get 2 REALLY good players to put around them at the expense of depth

But fuck that team

Team literally imploded and went downhill after Ja said he was fine in the West lol
