But this team just lacks creation and guys who can do something with the ball. You need somebody that create not just for themselves but others at a high level

Even if they scrapped Nico and his team and brought in a new front office the new regime would be completely hamstrung and wouldn't be able to make any moves to better because they have no future draft capital or assets to get better


Like if someone put you in charge of this team today and said you can do whatever you want....would you try to make this better or tear it down and trade AD?

Well I mean in the sense that I see the potential of this team when fully healthy

They have interior defense, size, perimeter defense, and 3pt shooting

Only thing that’s really missing is another creator like you said

Also you might as well just ride this shit out

I would just try to be proactive, this team isn't going anywhere, why not try to set your team up for real future success and rebuild the assest base

I almost feel like the fans would respect that more than trying to force them to like this team nobody asked for or wanted

Kyrie will be 35 by the time he's right again and AD could break down for good at any moment and then you're really assed out

Hopefully they keep doubling down and riding this out though, delay the rebuild for as long as possible lol

I’m speaking from a fan perspective and I think at the very least the Mavs want to field the team that was created that Luka was traded to create

Especially since the potential to being pretty competitive is already apparent

that’s just me though

The window is so little it's not even worth it imo

Like if Kyrie was healthy and you had some assets to get better than ok sure....but you're talking about all of next season and some of the next before he's even close to right and by the he'll be what 35? AD will be 34? And I can stress this enough....you don't have ways to get better, this is your team, you aren't upgrading this roster to anything much better

And I'm out here Dallas fam, they aren't fucking with this team lol
