Booker with CP Bridges Ayton were hella good. They played so well together and won hella games.

All those players are gone and none of them have really seen the same success outside of phoenix. Suns bringing Kevin Durant and Beal now they're struggling to make the play in

Why did they blow up that team up just to fail harder..

I think the criticism of defense today gets lost or confused. I've never heard anyone say the defenses in the past were more innovative or complex than today. What's usually said is that defense is all about effort and players/teams nowadays are not as committed to playing defense. The good defensive teams today get praised for their defense just like good defensive teams did back then. However, I think what's more common now is having teams and players who will abandon defense altogether in an attempt to just outscore opponents.

It's sort of like how people act like Jokic should be a guaranteed MVP winner and they based that 100% on offensive stats. Meanwhile, SGA is actually effective on both sides of the ball. I could be wrong, but I can't remember any center even being considered for MVP if they weren't high level on both sides of the ball. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Like this is great defense in any era



We really going to act like that's the standard?
