So now you're risk at risk of grossly overpaying Patrick Williams and Giddey while still being a treadmill team...piling up bad contracts is a sure way to do that

Why would Giddey be upset in the scenario that they extend a QO and make him unrestricted ?


But in this scenario I’m saying keep him/max him and sell pieces around him

That’s why I said worst case scenario you have him putting up numbers on your team for a few years

Also no comparison and pat Williams because Giddey is much more tradeable

Because they didn't extend him when they had a chance in October and then they would be telling him to wait another year

If you have Josh Giddey on a max contract for a few more years "putting up numbers" that is not a good place to be in as a franchise imo

Again the question is....what are you doing as an organization? they have no direction, no plan and they're sitting in purgatory chasing the playin every year

You said sell off pieces like they're going to premium assets back for Vucci Mane, Colby White on an expiring deal, Ayo ect lol
