Yes he is

I'm not really a fan of any of them but I listen because they have some really good inside information and stories sometimes

I haven't listened to this latest episode yet though lol
I was in a pod drought and listened to the initial Luka trade and then today it played on shuffle after another pod I listened to ended

Idk if windy is trolling or what but the AD stuff with him was hilarious/horrible. He was difficult/dense for no reason lol

The way this pod has been brought up before I thought it was better than this though

Like this pod has 3 very unlikeable guys lol

Maybe Detroit >>>> San Antonio

👀

They should be, Pistons been rebuilding for years lol

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I think if I was the Spurs I would've been more willing to give up some of these young players and sell high instead of giving up the draft capital in the Fox trade

I kind of feel like San Antonio hit the gas a little too soon, like outside of Wemby when you look at the rest of the roster I think they should be looking for more younger talent with higher upside to pair with him

I always go back to how New Orleans bungled The AD situation and was one of the worst instances of team building around a generational talent in NBA history

I keep saying I get it though and I understand they can't really fuck around if there's pressure to improve sooner than later

I always felt it was too much of a rush with Wemby but while they are locked into Fox they can make up for it with the next trade for the 3rd guy

Who would’ve been someone younger with upside?

Who would be that third guy?

Idk, it's a hard line to balance

I feel like they should've really went hard to tank this year and try to secure a top 3 pick in this year's draft but I know that probably wasn't realistic

I think about it through the lense of OKC a lot....you have Shai, Jalen and Chet

San Antonio has Wemby......now they're about to pay Fox max money to be their second best player and should probably be the 3rd.....and non of their other young guys have the upside of Chet or Jalen Williams.....unless you really like Stephon Castle

Spurs are still in a really good situation and the future is bright....I just hope they don't box themselves in and short themselves in the team building process

Yall told me Devin vassell was him though

I think they won’t lock themselves into an iffy situation as long as they keep castle and don’t go entirely all in on the third guy and they can’t go all in because they have too many assets

Also they not gonna make the playoffs this year and they might get 2 lotto picks that they could use

It’s not so bad

I don't think Fox should be the second best player but that's what he's going to be paid to be that

I feel like Castle is going to swing so much for them on way or the other lol

I think Fox can be 2nd on this team because wemby is that good and their supporting cast has the potential to make up for it

Giannis won a ring with khris Middleton arguably being their 2nd best player

I’d like to think Fox >>

Although the spurs have won once since Fox has come and the one win was against a bad hawks team

We will see, I think Mid might be better in that role, he was good pick and roll ball handler and could shoot

And that's also part of what I was saying, idk how good this supporting cast real is or how much potential they have to really take steps forward

Spurs have time and assets to figure it out thought

Call the raptors for Brandon Ingram when that ultimately fails up there

OR

Take some guys from the pelicans like herb jones and/or Zion

Speaking of the Grizz I think they're going to regret not being more aggressive improving this roster and not having more an "all in mindset"

I understand they wanted Jimmy and KD and they didn't want to go there and the Marcus Smart trade was a disaster

They have 3 bonafied/proven starters Bane, Ja and Jarren...not solidifying those other two spots going to come back to bite them
