I was mad the other day but Amorim should take the least amount of blame. He was set up to fail after he specifically requested to join at the end of the season.

It’s Ratcliffe destroying the moral and making shit decisions and of course years of the Glazers rinsing the club.

The game against Spurs was Amorim worse performance tho…

I get that but Amorim's inability and refusal to adapt his tactics, when he clearly doesnt have the players for his preferred system has been ridiculous... Even Ange finally realised it...

There was literally no benefit in sticking to his tactics, especially when half the players hes playing out of position wont even be there next season...

So yes Ratcliffe and the board have defo ruined the soul and moral of the club...

And the players have been a shambles, regardless of the clubs situation they have massively under performed...

So all in all, players, board and the coaching staff have been awful, just fckn awful...

I get the frustration. But Amorim has always played this system. If you ask to come at the end of the season so that the right players can be bought in and you have a pre-season and the board say now or never…should he really compromise his core beliefs because the club is badly run?

IMO yes, top managers have to adapt when things arnt going right... You cant have just one style of play at this level...

I get when he first joined, him wanting to play his favoured way to start, I absolutely get that but you cant keep playing and sleeping walking into a relegation battle, thats basically what he did... Had we not had such a terrible bottom 3 this season we would had been scraping to stay in the league, which is just mental...

When it was clear sticking to his way (using players that arnt even going to be here next season) wasnt working he should had just thought, OK time to switch things up until the end of the season, use what hes got, get a transfer window in and start again pre season...

Being so adamant and sticking to his guns ultimately did no one any favours... Its achieved nothing, the players coming in next season wont have benefited from him sticking to his same system this season and the few that are here next season can pick it up in preseason...

Its not all on him though, the board have sucked the life out of the club and players have under performed in a toxic work environment too...

When you have elite players though, pure winners, losing every week... week in, week out you can see why they start to undermine and question a new manager... Hes looked clueless...

I'll give him a chance though, if hes still so inept next season hes gotta go by Christmas...

I agree with what you're saying but no one forced him to join mid-season. Could've turned down the Berrada's ultimatum. He took a risk and has failed horrendously to adapt.

Agree with every word besides the final sentence.

If he remains in the summer, then he better be allowed to play with "his players" for the entirety of the season.

If we show clear signs of improvement when hes got his players sure but if we are still in the bottom 4-6 then surely he cant stay...

I'll take us finishing mid table but showing major improvements and cohesion though...

I can’t think of one manager especially the new breed that would turn down coming to Utd. Even now whilst we at the bottom of the table.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I would too.

However, if he stays I expect him to be gone before the new year cause he's shown himself to be stubborn, tactically unadaptable or just simply stupid. That UEL final cemented that belief for me.

Desperately searching for a goal in a cup final, instead of playing both hojlund and Zirkzee. He subs one for the other and plays maguire up front for long ball headers. Essentially saying he has more faith in maguire creating a goal than hojlund. Yet, he persistently started hojlund as the sole striker for months.

Joke manager.
