Thats sh!t... I think under a steady ship and in an organised, settled team they would absolutely thrive... A team of homegrown talent like Amad, Nacho and Mainoo etc would be dope and its always been the Untied DNA (granted thats been lost for years)...
They dont have to start every game either, as long as the team is winning and getting game time players will be happy... Problem is were seem to be pinning the future hopes of the club on them, not bedding them in like City, Liverpool or Arsenal etc
In the past weve had average but important players like Gibson, Fletcher, Evans (back here at 100yrs old), O'Shea, Lingard and Wes Brown etc and tons of other academy or homegrown players over the years being integral parts of winning squad...
Its dope seeing them mix in with wordlies like Ronaldo, Rooney, Rio & Vidic, Giggs and Scholes etc and then when they finally leave end up being top players at mid table or championship clubs...
