I don't know what he's upset about exactly, but it would be understandable if it were income lost. He gave them a discount last year, and he's never gonna recoup that money. What was it? 10 mil? I'm far from a "money is the only important thing" kind of guy, but you can't trust these organizations to do right by you when you're giving up millions of dollars. You don't know what your post-playing career will be like.

If the bulls trade Harden for lavine, they get off of Lavine’s contract and then they are given an out from being stuck when harden is a UFA next season

On the Sixers side, why wouldn’t they want lavine for harden when they know teams aren’t going to want to give up alot

You now have a younger player who matches Embiid’s timeline locked in for 3 years
