Jonathan Feigen dropped this list of potential free agent targets.....I really don't want any of these players except Bruce Brown and Austin Reeves....Poeltl could be interesting maybe. I like Cam Johnson and think he would give us some shooting we desperately need but I'm a bit worried about he's going to hold up health wise


I kind of just want to just say fuck it and throw some money at Miles Bridges since The Hornets would be very hesitant to match it.....Charlotte had been talking about negotiating a deal with him but the new ownership group stepped and said they weren't sure if they actually wanted to do that

Poetl isn't going anywhere. Gave up a 1st to get him so the raptors obviously intended to keep him and had assurances he wants to be here long term.

Fred van vleet I think comes back??? I'm just not seeing any teams with cap space being more appealing to him. But maybe the raptors have a number they absolutely won't go over.
 


Found that vid interesting cause I feel that's what turned the nick nurse situation sour. Chris Boucher alluded to it a few months back.

Maybe but I think niggas about be going at his head or at least that's what I'm hoping.

Bring back it back to when the giants got hunted in the paint. When niggas wanted to put you on a reel. I need that energy and hopefully wemby is ready for the smoke.

Lol. He will get dunked on, that’s inevitable. But trust me, the kid is ready for the smoke and he will let them know. The fire is there with this kid, he wants to be great.

Only thing stopping him is injuries, on this point I won’t disagree with the haters.

We'll see. Tbh I haven't done any type of deep dive on any of the top 5 guys since I didn't think they were in the raptors scope. Just gonna see what's good with wemby n dem in real time.

Gilbert definitely has a point, but to an extent. He is super adamant about this conversation because he was in that situation at one point, but he got his shot and took off from their.

Yes, the higher drafted guys will get more run initially because of the financial investment, but the cream rises to the top. A lot of guys, might not get run for a myriad of reasons and unfortunately a good amount comes down to what the coaches want out of the roster.

Gilbert got buckets, but he wasn’t a good defender, needed the ball to be the most effective version of himself, and he wasn’t the most efficient at getting buckets. Lmao. There are a lot of players that look great in practice or pick up because it’s very little structure.

A lot of these former players who have these platforms aren’t truly honest about their weaknesses due to being so self assured. Their belief in themselves is one of the main things that got them in the league and helped them stay around. I respect a lot of these folks opinions, but you can tell a good amount of them are delusional and uninformed as fuck when it comes to prospects or how to actually play winning basketball. Lmao.

He will be playing mostly the 4/power forward to avoid having to guard big guys like that early in his career. Of course it will be times where he will get switched on to them or play some center for a few minutes, but the team isn’t going to trot him out as the starting center
 
To me its clear to see Wembys potential and the hype was def warranted.

That said, im really hoping Wemby gets the time he deserves. I think its gonna take Wemby until his 3rd season when he really starts putting it together.

Personally im not gonna care when Wemby averages 12 points in 40% half way through his first season but social media and sports media gonna kill him.

He look like he ready for it though and the Spurs gonna put the right people around him to make sure he gonna stay focused
