Because Jersey retirements are at the discretion of the team

Also Haslem’s jersey being retired would be for diff reasons and under different parameters than a Carmelo jersey retirement

Haslem’s isn’t solely based on performance and accolades like Carmelo’s would be (why would you judge both the same?)

Haslem’s impact and legacy surpasses Carmelo’s on the nuggets and Knicks

And if this is the nuggets shit again, a far better player than Carmelo wears his number so that shit is out

This is your 1 freebie
I dont wanna “troll” so I’ll leave this here; 😲 I didn’t see it that way before.

I mean personally I didn’t like the picks that went out for Siakam as he is worth better but Siakam not wanting to resign with teams restricts the suitors

I kinda agree that Kuzma needs to go for arguably better picks

Depends on the players coming back too

Siakim was basically another Gobert trade it added more bs to the market

I think it was fair value...Siakam is an expiring contract and about to be 30 years old

Kuzma 28 himself and has four years left on his deal, the only thing good about it is its declining but you still paying him 25.5 this year, 23.5, 21.4 and then 19

Trading multiple picks for Kuzma is crazy, I still don't even know what exactly he does good on the basketball court...Pascal a way better player

Dude is worth 1 mid first round pick...that's it

I don’t really agree with the notion that pascal is an expiring because he’s going to the pacers with the agreement that he’s resigning with them

I’m not really saying it wasn’t fair value I just think it could’ve been better if it was to another team

And again this might be me liking Kuzma more than most lol

But I can get on board with 1 pick if it’s a good one since teams are being really stingy with picks now

Honestly that doesn't even matter too much....whether you consider Pascal an expiring or not, why do you think he was worth more than 3 first round picks that the Pacers gave up for him? How much more should have been given up?....Raptors could've got more if they traded him a year earlier but they didn't

He's about to be 30 and there are real concerns about his game is going to age....and he's looking for a max contract

I just dont get why a team would give up a good first round pick for a 28 year old inefficient scorer who doesn't defend

No no I don’t mean the number of picks I mean the quality of picks

But come on man you act like Siakam gonna fall off a cliff at age 32

A team that’s a 3rd option away from being contenders would part with a good 1st rounder

Ohhhh I see...

Yeah I mean like I said the Pacers did a good job of retaining their young players and giving away picks that they can almost consider expendable

3 firsts....2 of them are in a weak draft and one comes from OKC....both are probably going be late first round picks

The other first is a top 4 protected pick in 2026

I still think that's pretty fair value...that's how it works when somebody is on an expiring deal and they tanked their value

I don't think he's going to be cooked at 32 but his efficiency has been going down and he doesn't have the most offensive game while leaning heavily on his athleticism....those type of players don't typically age great once they get into their 30s and he surely won't be worth a max contract

Not saying you’re wrong on the declining part but idk I guess I’m being optimistic about it

As far as the pick thing, that 2026 pick is great the ones for this draft are ehhh especially like gray matter said the other day, I too do not trust the raps anymore in their drafting

But thanks for the talk and not being a troll 😀

A 2029 pick
D’lo
A pick swap

For Murray

If Pat can’t turn $30 mil expiring, a pick, Jovic, Caleb on an expiring into a player or two then..

Everybody starting to catch on and realize that Jalen Green sucks, not just Rockets fans smh

I really hope we can recalibrate and get something for him before the deadline or this summer
