Pacers/Bucks(should be on TV)
Pelicans/Wolves
Heat/Lakers- TNT
Magic/Knicks
Clippers/Suns

These games are interesting for different reasons

Grizz/Raptors
Rockets/Nets
Hawks/Thunder

Bulls/Knicks have the ABC game

I dunno how many games darko is gonna get away with having to play Poeltl 40 mins now that we have no back up center.

Need to fix that. Also need to give johntay Porter (mpj lil big bro) a shot or cut him.

Really excited to see quickley again and of course I'm happy about screwface rj coming home. He impressed me this summer so hopefully being home inspires him into another gear. @AZTG @Ironman id love a breakdown of those 2 whenever either of you have a minute.

Ill say it's the first balanced trade in a long time. Can't call a winner till about a year from now.

I love it for og. He needed to be in a spot where he's a clear 3rd guy. New York provides that atm. Where we kinda muddied that up for him. All imma say is if he tightens that clumsy ass handle of his NY going on a deep run.

Hopefully you guys can get through to precious achuiwa. His issue is he doesn't want to be put in a box as player as he can do many things. But he has to remember he's playing on a team and trust the pass. Not sure how that's gonna vibe w thibb but achuiwa is an nba player. Just needs to put it together mentally.

Not expecting yall to get much out of Flynn but never say never. He's a good kid. Stays ready.

I think it's a really good chance that long term yall might have walked away with the best asset in the trade.....I think IQ is going to flourish in Toronto and can flirt with being a borderline all-star

Silver giving the streets what they want

Houston is a bad matchup for OKC and I would love to see them in the playoffs

Before a breakdown, after sleeping on the trade for a few days, my realistic assesment is this was a good trade for both sides.

NY has two 25 ppg scorers, and needed spacing and defense. Toronto has other good defenders and really needed shot creation.

NY got OG which fits their need of defense and spacing. Toronto got RJ and IQ who will create shots for themselves and to a lesser degree others.

I dont think either team overpaid either. And this will hopefully help reset the trade market.

That said, as far as assessments go, with RJ you got a guy who is fearless and not scared to shoot no matter the situation. Unfortunately his overall product is super inefficient. Hes more efficient so far this season, mostly because his ft shooting got better, but hes still inefficient. When he is good, hes really good. When hes bad, hes really bad. He'll go on a run of being an allstar player and win you games. Then he'll go on a run of being the worst starter in the league. RJ is a good 3rd/4th option as it currently stands. Hes not a finished product though. I have more faith in his development with the raptors than I did with the Knicks. I really hope he fulfills his potential there. Hes also over paid the next 3 seasons if he doesnt improve.

With IQ, you have the perfect bench player. Scores in bunches. Rebounds really good for small guard. Can playmake. And also is a good defender for a small guard. As a starter, im not sure. Imo he has a ton of room for improvement. The issue is hes gonna want like 120Ms in the summer, and yall have to figure out if hes a starter or if yall wanna pay that much for a bench player.

Overall, both fun solid players to watch. Both have a ton of room for improvements. And both are super inconsistent, with RJ being more inconsistent than IQ.

Like @AZTG said RJ can get real tunnel vision sometimes but other times he's moving the rock and looking like a legitimate young star in the league. Honestly RJ unfortunately got thrown into a horrible situation being drafted here in the first place. He had 4 different coaches by time Thibs was hired and a wholwe bunch of awful previous staff. I wholeheartedly agree RJ would've been better if he was able to have a stable team from jump with space and a chance to grow. Kids freethrow are legitimate he's pyshed to 85 from 70 last year. Mentally tough and very mature especially with post games and things like that. Kid is professional as hell. If yall get more shooting and faster offense he can definitely get better.

IQ kid has that type of energy and shotmaking that wakes the building up especially in 4th quarters. He can be a legitimate 6th man and when he did start because of injury he was hitting 20 points and hitting 6-7 assists. His wingspan and ability to get over screens for defense is also really good. Him and RJ both are great rebounders for guards as well.

Honestly it's probably my bias talking but yall got some decent pieces and I believe in them they just need a chance. Playing with Scottie and a more playmaking structure will be big for them. Yall have players who have hit clutch shots and clutch freethrows.
