I knew he would win again, just by the discourse being had on NBA radio and the major media outlets. That’s the reason I picked him to win on here.

I really wanted Shai to win, because nobody thought OKC would be this good this season and the man put up video game numbers on offense while also being good on defense.

Maybe next season for Shai.

Shai= 30 ppg,2.0 spg,6.2 apg,5.5 rpg , 55 fg%, 35 3pt%, 87 ft %

Joker=26.4ppg,1.4 spg,9.0 apg,12.4 rpg, 58 fg%, 35.9 3pt, 81.7

I think Shai still edges him with stats,30 ppg,2 steals per,AND 55 fg % as a guard plus 87 ft % is crazy.

I liked Brunson over Luka and thought your first two would’ve been the correct way to go.

Your not wrong if we went by impact on winning alone.

Luka's teams are just as good with him on the court vs off. Not saying hes ass, still a generational talent, but compared to the top impact players? Hes not top 3.

But in this era of stats where everyone gets points, rebounds, and assists, i dont think a player like Brunson can win the MVP regardless of impact. Almost everyone averaging a triple double or in Shai's case, 30+ points on crazy efficiency.

A player like Brunson who is 6'1 at best will miss out due to rebounding stats
