Im hoping OG doesnt play this season either.

Knicks can still make a ton of moves with trades, and its probably finally turning into a place where good vets want to come and play.

Shut down OG, go into the playoffs with this being your roster, get another good backup big, a good back up forward, and we contenders next year as long as that lineup with Brunson, OG, and Randle were really that good and not a fluke.

Also unless fucking Wemby takes the league over the next year. Im projecting Wemby wins his first DPOY in year 3, his first mvp in year 4, and then every DPOY and MVP for 12 straight years.

And then every year of his prime. Its gonna be wild when they stop giving it to him because of voters fatigue but hes gonna be so much better than who they give it too. Lmaoooo.

I just hope he stays healthy.

Also San Antonio too small for him.

Im just looking at this like why they had him wait 3 months before surgery? He could have been 3 months into his recovery by now. Im not in the room so idk what was behind this decision. But it feels very amateurish. The team doctors should have known 2-3 weeks in that a surgery was needed. Shit for the last month theyve been saying his recovery has stalled.

Its like they were fiending so hard to get everyone back for this post season run that they botched this whole shit.

According to Woj it was Randles call he was trying hard to avoid surgery and rehab. Doctors warned him damage could get worse and he'd actually risk a permanent injury. He had no choice unfortunately.

I get that. But since when do players get so much say over the fact? Doctors are supposed to have the players best interest in mind and save the players from themselves and the team.

Knicks are finally moving towards being a well ran franchise. I just think this is one thing they still have to improve on.

Plus everything that comes from Woj comes from the team so I take it all with a grain of salt. Teams tend to protect themselves.

I agree he should've gotten it soon as the injury was confirmed. This FO is so damn secretive we thought Mitch had an ankle sprain until the very next day it was confirmed he had surgery out of no where
