I fuck with Steve Clifford but they need a Will Hardy/Mark Daignault type at this point.....there's a definitive ceiling with Clifford as your head coach but I do think it's good they're keeping him around in advisory role

Facts

I think this season has gone better than anyone could've hoped especially considering the circumstances

-New coach
-Young team
-Adding in veteran pieces
-Kevin Porter Jr trying to sabotage the season before it started....think people kind of forget how important he was supposed to be for us as a shooter/6th man, crazy thing is as bad as Jalen was playing early in the season Porter Jr probably could've had an opportunity to take the starting 2 guard spot. All time bag fumble and fuck up
-Basically a lost year for Tari



Of course we still have to see what happens in the playoffs and how that impacts movement this summer....but I think I've seen enough to where I would be cool with bringing this squad back one more year and just making some small upgrades to the bench and adjustments to the starting lineup(ex start Tari over Brooks)

We basically already have a 9 man rotation

Fred/Amen
Jalen/Whitmore
Brooks/Tari
Jabari/Tate
Sengun/Adams/Landale


Idk where the room for a new rotation player comes from unless someone out of the above group gets moved.....even starting to think that maybe we should keep the Broolyn pick and address our biggest need there and just have more cheap young talent

I was thinking about that too. There’s really no clear upgrade out there that’s easily available. I’m honestly not expecting any major upgrades. Coaching and natural progression and we could be anywhere between 45-50 wins.

Exactly

Maybe we shop Dillon Brooks but other than that I don't see anyone else being moved unless someone completely unexpected becomes available

Need to aim higher than Mitchell or Bridges

We really just need to find some shooting and maybe a little more playmaking/creation this summer and we good imo.....we can absolutely get that at 8 in the draft
