Shout out Ime. He did it again.

The Celtics had a slow ass start his year coaching there and there was talk around how Ime was wilding, talking to them through media, continiously calling them out and yelling on the side line.

First 30-40 games the Cs players werent feeling that and then they finally bought it and were the best team the rest of that season.

Same with the Rockets now. First it looked like Ime was wildin and being way too hard on the players and it looked like he was losing them and now it looks like it finally clicked and Jalen Green is looking like a super star and the Rockets are killing.

Not saying Mcbride is as good as IQ is as a player.

But Mcbride is giving us the same thing IQ was giving us in the role we had IQ playing. IQ > Mcbride would be as the starting pg of the Raptors, but for the Knicks and the role we had IQ playing, Mcbride has been just as good.

And we gonna have Mcbride do this for like 4 mil a year the next 3 years as opposed to having to give IQ close to 100 mil.

Mcbride hopefully gonna get better too. Already a good defender and shows alot effort on that side. If he can improve his handles and play making by penetrating and passing a lil better, then hes gonna be the perfect backup pg.

Getting this kind of production on that contract is extremely good value. Nicely done by the front office, these things around the margin are the underrated parts of roster building

Props to Mcbride for staying ready when he was in and out of lineup and getting inconsistent minutes

If they are rigid on centers, then 1st and 2nd team is Gobert and Wemby. But if they take 2 big men on each team regardless of position, then Hart gotta get that
