Side note I’m pissed the suns traded for Royce

He’s the missing piece as insignificant as he is in the grand scheme of the league

I can understand both sides of the argument about Charlotte and Melo Ball. I can see your point of view about moving on from Ball and I can see why one wouldn’t want to.

I think that they should wait because this draft class isn’t the greatest and they really don’t have a solid replacement for his play making. I can also see it being a smart move to trade now while his status hasn’t completely bottomed out to get future assets.

I think it ultimately depends on the next GM and coaching hire and what their vision is. I wouldn’t be surprised if they stayed out though.

Funny enough my point of view is similar to yours.

It really is a complicated situation to assess imo

LaMelo basically hasn't played in two years, always hurt, he's pretty much the same player and hasn't really improved, his 5 year extension doesn't even kick in until next season....35 mil, 38 mil, 41 mil, 43 mil, 46 mil

But Charlotte has been a complete shit show from a culture and talent stand point and maybe with revamped leadership, roster and better health it could look better for him

I think we all agree though that trading him is the eventual move...just a matter of when not if
 
Pacers defense has been pretty much the same as it was before they traded for Siakam, didn't think he would solve all of their issue but I though their would be some marginal and noticeable improvement

It is interesting though they haven't really used him as a versatile switch defender which is kind of the point of having him
