Surplus to requirements? He is recovering from his ACL injury in London. I can understand why they might not feel comfortable going into the season with 1 healthy striker.
With Jackson doing well, hopefully the feel comfortable enough to start the season with Jackson and Nkunku can spot start at the 9 spot if needed. Hopefully in the next few weeks, Broja gets fit enough to play games and can back Jackson up this season.
ACLs are a bitch, hopefully he comes back the same or better player.
Ive recorded the game and not watched it yet, so dont know the score... I hope Mitoma came back and gave that work...
