Because he has no strength in his arm and didn’t throw a TD all year that travel over 12 yards from the LOS.

that stat is misleading.

He def doesnt have a Howitzer cannon…but noodle arm? Nah…

I will admit that the deep ball has never been his game as a QB…even at Bama it was all short to intermediate timing throws (that rpo slant was deadly) because at the college level he was really good at pre snap reads…
But he def wasnt afraid to let it fly with that WR corp he had at Bama
