Y’all win that first when Ben couldn’t even put up 19 TD passes.
Changes nothing I said. When he played well. Team was in the playoffs. If he played hurt or was out with injuries the team missed the playoffs.

My point is..

If you wanna be known as a great GM. Draft a franchise QB that is gonna stick around for 15 plus years.

So is it a money issue in B-More, QB, or scheme? I tease a lot but seriously this is the same shit Kordell went through. That niggas best wr was Yancey Thigpen while going through different OC's routinely. Not saying that would have changed Kordell's career but those are factors in his demise. If you plan on paying Lamar you should at least get him some decent help to get the most out of your investment. Also, if WR's don't want to come play with him, is he even worth paying, or should you trade while his name is still marketable?

This a good parallel

That shyt is more about the offense than just Lamar. Shyt hasn't really evolved since his MVP season.
Seems like OC still runnin plays from that time. It was cool you built the offense around him...but after 2 to almost 3yrs now...you gotta rely on receivers to help.

Like I said...Hollywood was underutilized. So I can't blame him for wanting to leave.

Lamar has his faults too...

- holds the ball too long
- still needs to work on accuracy
- read the defense better
- gettin rid of the ball when the pocket collapses

But even with all that....I'd still make him the highest paid NFL player. Just get the man some WR's

Now that I'm retired as a Steeler fan I can finally have a decent convo about your squad. Lol

.Tomlin
. Starting to lose interest in the sport.

I'll prolly jump back on the bandwagon sooner or later and I hope Tomlin is the reason why. But for now I feel like I'm wasting my time fucking with them and I had enough joy in my lifetime watching them.

I will never root for another squad tho.
