That's the thing tho. The few regular season games we watched together, Steph sucked. Playoff Steph is a real thing tho and he doesn't get called out enough for it imo.
You can say that about every superstar in the playoffs. They going to get more attention from defenders. This is where 2nd and 3rd banana has to step up

generational greats are supposed to have generational games. Steph has looked meh af in so many playoff games.

It don’t?

can you give some examples of what you’re saying?
Excessive doesn't mean intentional. It's just that, excessive.

The NBA has the luxury of replay which to me has kinda taken the human element out of it cause some shit slowed down can make something seem worse than it was in real time.

But while excessive doesn't mean intentional, it can be perceived as such. I've seen that replay a few times and even live it didn't look like he was making a play on the ball, in which he made excessive contact on an airborne shooter.

I agree with beta that I don't think he at any point in that play decided he was going to take him out, and I would have a hard time trying to prove he did cause outside of some blatant obvious situations, you don't know what a person is thinking, however, the contact was dirty, and it was excessive even if he didn't mean to cause injury.

Same shit for Draymond in game 1. At some point, niggas just gotta let the nigga score the 2pts.

This is in the rule book. I'm paraphrasing but if a player gets the rebound, keeps the ball high with elbows out and pivots and makes contact with the opposing player, that's usually not called a foul.

It becomes a foul if they actually swing the elbows and make contact but you would have to know the rule and when to apply it

you appear to be of the thought that dirty has to be intentional...it doesnt
That’s your opinion

Dirty = intentional

Guys are moving full speed and these niggas are fast and it’s easy to say something is dirty because we look at it in slow motion

Brooks tried to get the ball but missed

He made a reckless play because it led to a play where GP could get hurt and he did.

Do I think Brooks Ran down on him to try and hit him in the head? No

i think he tried to stop him from scoring and he went about it in a reckless way hence me saying it’s reckless and not dirty

excessive and dirty are two different things.

Ill just leave it at that

It seems like every time wifey watches Steph and the Dubs with me he has a bad game. It's kinda hard trying to convince her that he's an all time great. He's trash according to her. lol
My wife says the same thing about CP3.

The only way grizzlies win in 7 is if they limit the turnovers, rebound, and defend the pick and roll. They don't seem confident switching on defense and the bigs are too slow to hedge and get back so it presents opportunity for Golden State to get the better matchups.
