I really wish I knew what happened to Derrick White....in the bubble dude was hooping on another level and was one of my favorite players to watch...he was 19/5/4 shooting like 39% from 3 on on 8 attempts per game and these werent just spot up 3s...he was coming off screens, pulling up off the dribble, catch and shoot, isoing ect

He was hurt the next year and I thought this season it would balance out between the bubble season and the injury season but it has just not happened

Defensively he's still really good as a help defender but offensively he's shit now and Im not sure why

Maybe it’s because that boy is out of SA

But I mean he’s only been on the Celtics a few months and I think is in a new role

He might really just need a training camp and some extra time to settle in

Honestly it could be that the bubble was just that much of an aberration and people(myseld included) have an idea of something that doesn't really exist

In the bubble he shot 39% from 3 but that season as whole he was really only 36-37% which was a career high...every season besides that he's 34, 35, 31, 31 and 30% this season which is his career low

I do still think he's better than he's been though
