I think the factor at play here is that the Knicks can get Brunson with just cap room, whereas they need to trade assets to get Murray.
All things considered, Murray >>>> Brunson. But idk if Murray is better than Brunson enough to get the package the Spurs would want.
Either way Knicks better make that call and find out.
