I think you’re too young to be on this board

and if not

Yiu too damn old to be talking like this.

I’m foreal
Are we talking about the kids or not?? Who you think they want to be? Klay the platonic ideal of every AAU baller out right now. Iono what to tell you, take it up with them kids not me

You strive to be like Steph. You end up settling to be like Klay.

Every baller except for #10 on the Nets wants to be The Man on their team.

That is definitely the mindset of today's AAU players.

I was gon speak on it with me being a football coach, into the AAU high school basketball scene and being around kids and coaches that play basketball, he’s deadass wrong.

Maybe the kids that has NO FUTURE in basketball at any level besides sitting the bench on a varsity team would say some shit like That Lololololol

Klay the Legend
Lol @ another superstar

That implies that there were two

Well let me ask you...is Klay Thompson being penalized in circles for always having curry? Is he considered a superstar?
Klay gonna clamp up Kobe and nobody is gonna be able to guard curry

shaq gonna dominate on only one side of the floor and you have to account for him staying out of foul trouble against the rotation of GS’s bigs
So a guy that’s not as good as klay Thompson was a top 15 player in the 90s?

:lol10:
And y’all say it was better then? Lol
Klay Thompson >> Reggie Miller but y’all not ready

I won't go that far and say you are either Steph or a bench rider. What I am saying is that 99% of kids that make the nba was prolly The Man on the team they were on. Once you make it to the NBA and the elite level is turned up a notch, those who were the go to guy on their team now have a guy like Steph they just are not better than, so they become second or third fiddle.

There is nothing wrong with that. With that said, if you had to settle on what player to be like, Klay is a good choice.

Dwayne Casey is gonna get the axe mid season if Detroit doesn’t look at least halfway better than they have these few games.

It’s hella early so he has time to figure stuff out, but I’m pretty sure they thought coming into this season they would be more competitive against teams and maybe a few games better than last season.

Told yall years ago. He can get them to give max effort, even teach them some shit they can carry with them as they mature into men on a philosophical level. But when them niggas stuck and need someone to give them answers and in game solutions he's just not the guy. That's not his wheelhouse.

He needs vets that can figure that out for self. Or a coach on his staff that can get creative and have those solutions on the ready like say nick nurse but then that coach will eventually make Casey obsolete.

I knew once they started the rebuild in detroit it was just a matter of time before people turn on him. He doesn't know what to do with all them kids.
