Honestly though, what can the league do about this incident? I’m pretty sure Memphis is open carry and dude legally can own a weapon. He isn’t a felon. The other stuff was bigger because it was during the season and you can’t have weapons in team areas. They were on the road, so they had to investigate to see if he brought it on the team plane. He was also out of his home state, which is another set of issues.

They could suspend him for conduct detrimental to the league, I guess. Couldn’t that kind of open the league up for a possible lawsuit though? I guess the conduct detrimental could be a wide net of things. Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out.
