lol I remember Cruijff being mad af at the Barca board when they got shirt sponsors, he was always on that a ‘club should be self supporting/debt free‘ babble… Ajax is in the healthy financial situation today because of the 2010 rebirth lead by Cruijff and co, they ironically followed the Bayern philosophy …
Nothing worse then a nice shirt being ruined by a tacky betting sponsor etc even worse when these sponsors insist on a blank box square for their logo that ruins the aesthetic of the shirt...

This might sound like a cop out, but i think FdJ is the better player, but Rice (or the profile he brings) is what we need right now. Over the years, i have been a Rice skeptic, but that is soften a bit of late.
