Gat damn. We're supposedly days into this mourning and I'm just hearing about this.12 days of mourning seem justifiable
Given Queen Elizabeth II was our official head of state, then it was automatic and in good taste to observe all due protocols, including expressing official condolences, outpouring accolades, a few official days of mourning, special church functions and sending official representatives to her funeral.
We did not observe so many days of mourning on the passing of our former prime ministers. Maybe Jamaicans loved the Queen more than Britons who are observing 10 days of mourning.
12 days of mourning seem justifiable
