Fucking hell, who was dumb enough to think money could leave British soil to go to a Russian based club right now? Or even the UK government granting a work permit! 🤣

UEFA and PL's has now embolden the many owners who don't want to spend and restricted the few who do

Spurs, nearing a decade long trophy drought, board members agree to build a stadium costing billions, in order to increase club value. That was an admission of having the means to compete and not doing so. If that wasn't grounds for the PL to levy (no pun intended) a sanction then the bylaws need changing. This country just doesn't value winning.

PL "Parachute payment" for simply being relegated: £43m in yr 1 (max possible total of £100m by yr 3)
CL final prize: £17m (CL winner's max possible prize total £65m)

If UEFA and PL find it paramount that the owners retain their money then the owners should be allowed to do so (and generate it) on their own terms.

The Super League is inevitable and rightly so.
