The story is that because ETH wanted to wait for de Jong, they didn’t sign Antony when we could have got him for the right price, Ajax went on to sell 5-6 players and have now raised the price to £80m. Following the overpayment for Martinez, the idiots at the club think waiting until the end of the window they can negotiate a lower price.

Everybody knows if we do get him we will pay exactly what Ajax are asking for.
