I haven't paid much attention, but I thought y'all let your OL go to hell. The new line holding up or is Ben gonna get killed?
Nah. But we are “starting from scratch” per se.

Every starter except one from last year is gone

we got two rookies, a second year player with like two starts we signed Trai Turner and Chuks Okorafor is back at RT until Zach Banner (the presumed starter) gets healthy

we also got a new oline coach (Adrian Klemm)

imo the talent is there its just unproven

but I exepect the oline to be better than last season.

I was not worried about the running backs. Our offense will make most RBs look good. Losing Marcus Peters is a big big deal though. Our pass rush is pretty "makeshift", it was going to rely on our secondary being airtight. Going to need one of these rookie CBs to set up big time.

Peters is of course a huge loss b/c his IQ is off the charts, but Anthony Averett should step in and play decent enough in that role. He's been with the squad for 3 seasons (this will be his 4th) now and has previously gotten significant snaps. I'm excited and hopeful he will ball out and at the very least be serviceable!

Tavon Young is the guy I'm watching for as well b/c he's very talented and has a nose for the ball, but he stay hurt (last two seasons)! Hopefully he can dodge the injury bug and do work!

It's kind of funny to me that he's failing as a GM because I really liked his opinion on draft day over a lot of the other commentators

Him evaluating as an analyst doesn't require him to be right to the point where it could cost him his job as an analyst. He doesn't have to have a system to develop the players once they've been drafted. He's already moved onto evaluating the next draft class.

We all know Gruden is the final word. I think Mayock is scoutimg and evaluating great…I feel Gruden is responsible for a lot of the bs

Yeah Gruden def can override him and I also think the difference of grading guys on tv is you’re just grading them in a vacuum. In comparison as a GM you’re grading them to fit into whatever systems the team runs. That adds an additional variable to miss on guys.
