2021 NFL Season Thread: LA Rams are the Champions

It's time to start placing blame on the boy wonder Sean McVay.

The easy thing is to blame Stafford.

But lining up on a 3rd and inches in a 5WR set with 1:30 before halftime was so fucking stupid.

Stafford gets sacked SF gets a FG before halftime and the ball back to start the 2nd half and all momentum changed.

McVay and the Rams get too cute and that's why they will lose

Like i said no blame for McVay and his dumb play calling. Rams should have been up 20 to 0 at halftime at least.

The gameplan to beat the rams is just bully them especially up the middle.

That's how the Titans embarrassed them. 49ers have the personel to do it also.

Naw, Mcvay does need to start getting some blame. His front office has been making win-now moves for him for years, and he's not winning. Was damn near a Wild Card team again this year.

Can you think of a team that's done more to bring in people over the last few years?
 
Stafford orchestrated a late game drive and to give the Rams the lead late in the game and that high priced Rams defense give up a TD with just over a minute on the clock

If you want to criticize the Rams for only scoring 7 points the second half, thats fine....but to put it all on Stafford for yesterdays loss is nonsense

-Loses against good teams regardless where he’s at
-Had the ball in his hand to win the game and throws the game clinching INT
-Only throws accurate passes to one WR

All things that’s on brand for Stafford


I don’t like McVey but he has multiple seasons of winning a playoff game and got his team to the super bowl

Their bar should be SB win or bust. They were supposed to be really good last year. They added Stafford, OBJ, Von Miller, and Sony Michel. Feel like with the roster moves they make, winning a playoff game is more a minimum expectation than an accomplishment.
