Plus they already got into a bad contract w KP why get into another w derozen
I literally said they need another ball handling shot creator. Also DFS is hardly a starter in this league and Hardaway started only 30 games this season so him being the 6th man is a strong possibility if need be. But I had him as a starter anyways in my scenario

Derozen is still a allstar level player so he is still gonna want a decent to solid contract. Thats a bad contract from the teams perspective for that player imo.
Unless it's a 2 year deal with the 2nd year being a team option.

DFS can’t dribble or playmake, hardaway got one gear, will shoot wide open or smothered without a single pass for long stretches. Derozan can handle the ball and make plays without Luka, only Jalen Brunson can on the current roster, but the offense still usually ain’t running so good without Luka on the floor, and the defense non existent
