They stopped letting Giannis dribble the air out of the ball and had him in the post and you see what he started doing. He did a damn fadeway on a hobbled James Harden. Giannis got bad feet and zero touch down there. Giannis can't shoot so you can't have him and Brook play at the same time if you wanted to have Brook post up. Jrue Holiday and Middleton could run a pick and roll with Giannis but they aren't advanced playmakers like that.

I think basketball is different than other sports, it's kinda like baseball. The players have more of an effect on the game than the coach, in the playoffs especially because in the last 4 minutes, you just end up watching your star player do whatever he wanna do.

In my opinion, the Bucks aren't smart basketball players and they aren't that talented. I think Bud is doing the best he can with a star player that is limited and a roster that has be designed around the limitations of his star.

What I would do against the Nets is, have Brook come off the bench and have Giannis start at the 5 and surround him with shooters.

Especially the last sentence.


That falls on the coach for not implementing that strategy.
 
It hurts my heart to say this but coach Bud needs to chill from coaching for a few seasons and reassess his approach.

he isn’t a bad coach but in the playoffs he gets exposed because he is too stubborn to make in game adjustments.

yeah, your system works doing the regular season but he should know by now that the playoffs are a different animal and good coaches adjust if what they are running isn’t working. Sometimes game to game, quarter to quarter, or even possession to possession.

I think Coach Bud doesn't do it because of the defensive strategy he employs. He believes in shutting down the paint at the expense of everything else. Giannis has a lot of help responsibility as Brook serves as the rim protector. Giannis rarely ever plays center.

But he should against the Nets, since they don't play a traditional 5 man line up and just let Giannis run and dunk all day. Play him 40 minutes and tell him to get 50 and don't shoot any 3s.

Why not. I wanna hear why you don’t wanna see a young and exciting Utah team that’s hella fun to watch?

Or a big physical Bucks team that can score a bunch of points too.

Go head and drop that for us.

You sounding like them lames that want “big market” teams in it for not other reason besides being located where they at.

Clippers are a boring team to watch if y’all wanna be real.

I personally wanna see Philly vs Utah/Phoenix
