Nash did something very smart last night and it's so basic.
He decided to pair Kyrie and KD together and not stagger them. Every coach in this playoffs so far with a two headed attack is staggering minutes. Steve Nash said he gonna blow the Bucks out and went for the kill early. He knows the Bucks can't guard KD or Kyrie, so why fuck around and pull one out with 4 minutes left in the quarter and have one start with the bench.
Coaching in the NBA is overrated anyway. Fucking Frank Vogel has a ring. Doc Rivers has a ring. Ty Lue has a ring. Mike Brown went to the Finals. Rick Carlisle has a ring. Bud has 60 win seasons under his belt.
I wouldn't consider any of these guys HOF coaches. They just always had good rosters or a superstar player.
Players run teams for the most part.

You’re simplifying it too much. You can have all the talent in the world but if you don’t have good coaching/game planning you’ll still lose when the competition elevates.
Nash ain’t Phil Jackson but it’s obvious he has some competence of coaching. Otherwise we would have heard about it.

yes they should've gotten in.....and considering they were projected to be in the cellar this year...he coached them up to overachieve and they did...at one point I think they were a top 8 team in the West

Giannis aint built to be the #1 scoring option in half-court offense. Put him next to Dame or Luka and his shooting deficiency is suddenly not a big deal. Let him eat on rolls, cuts, and low posts. And yeah he's more fit to play as the modern 5 with elite rim protection and PnR defense.
