I mean to some extent you’re right. But at the same time they are riding a 30+ year old Rose & Randle who both been playing outta their mind all season. Can’t win when your best player is Rose or Randle.
I feel like in the regular season they overachieved a bit. In a series where the opponent can adjust seems like the Hawks talent has figured out how to score against the Knicks & how to lock them up in the process.
Series is far from over but I don’t think you can seriously build around Randle. He’s more of a 2nd option if that. Knicks still need unquestionable #1
