What the hell is David Griffin doing?

I feel bad for the Pelicans fans, for real. He looking like our silly ass young GM and he has been around for awhile which makes his moves stranger to me.

Maybe he is counting on the young guys to take a big step up and Zion to come back even better?

I am rooting for you guys for real though.

WHy do u feel bad for them, they (except @Dwayne ) think he is doing a good job.

I have a feeling if they keep losing Zion and Ingram are gonna bounce and that team is going to relocate.

The fans seem to love the squad but they've had alot of bad luck with GM's over the years.

Vegas and Seattle are in the cut just waiting for an NBA owner willing to sell

Fire Griff

If you haven't noticed I TRY not to bash other folks teams or front office folks. Especially if I'm not really privy to stuff past surface level moves. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend like I know a whole lot about Kira Lewis, Alexander-Walker, or Jaxson Hayes, because I don't.

As far as I know their (young players) improvement might be what Griffin is banking his job on and he could be (or maybe not) smart to do so. Which is why I stated as such in the post you quoted about counting on the young players to improve. I do know trading a 1st round draft pick for Devonte Graham is odd because I follow Charlotte a little closer though.

He might get fired if they underachieve this season but I don't know enough to wish it on the guy.

Zion threatening to leave you dont bank things on lesser unproven 2nd and 3rd year players and a 6’1 PG who never shot 40% from the field

Just need them to extend Jonas to make the cypher complete
