If you don't have Russ ahead of CP3 now, why does a ring all of a sudden bump him above CP3?

It boils down to would you want CP or Russ running your offense.

And based on the majority of posts made in here about Russ, I'm surprised at how his narrative will all of a sudden shift assuming the Lakers win this year.

I could see this argument back in the day when players were put on teams and won championships organically. I don't think that argument holds up too well in today's game where super teams are the norm.
