On the low Boston setting themselves up to eventually trade for a 3rd star to go with Tatum and Brown next summer

This plus the Smart and Williams deals that got done, the rookie salaries they have....those are the type of contracts you need when you trying to make a move

Who could go join them? Any names circulating?
 
And imo Ben Simmons being underrated until people start calling him a top 5 defender

the best defender on his team is also the best player

im likely not taking 20 players over Ben. The skill set he does have with his size make him useful in a variety of ways imo

It's going to be interesting to see how long some of these teams wait to pivot if they get off to a slow start

Only 3-4 teams are actively trying to tank next season, OKC, Houston, Orlando and maybe Detroit.....other than that every team believes they can/should make the playoffs

Why would we be tanking? I’m letting you know now if that’s the plan I’m out lol. I’m not on board with tanking this year.

Tanking is a strong word.....I think we're not actively trying to be good this year but we're not trying to bottom out either

Honestly I think on paper we're deep and have a lot of talent....we're just young and unproven, plus we have some inevitable trades and injuries to deal with

But even with 2-3 rookies rotating out of the g-league I think we should be competitive

Bro, u guys are TANKING (which is the right thing to do at this phase of the rebuild). Don’t let @Hustlelitó threats cloud your judgment.

Im with it. I don’t mind the growing pains that come with a young team. But tanking for a top pick naw. We need to be trying to win as much as possible now. Waiting 3-4 years just to be a playoff team is wack to me.
