If he were white it wouldn't even be an issue but he young, rich, black and choosing to go his own way so... that's another thread altogether tho.

And you know they use their token blacKs to do their dirty work. Sassy A had the nerve to say if Ben had all these mental health issues before last years playoffs “why didn’t he request time off?“

Yet he ripped Kyrie for taking time off last season for the same thing.
:hahaha:

Nigga you know he is young but what I'm getting at his ceiling IMO ain't as high as Todd's for him to get all those minutes.
lol nah Gill is 29 he’s not young at all

I’m agreeing with you he should not be getting mins like this but I guess with Kuzma and porzingis there even with Beal out there’s still a push for the play in

so I do get it

Damn I didn't know he was near 30.

That's my biggest issue pushing for the play-in. I ain't saying tank but we gotta look at the future and develop players. What is making the play-in really going to do for us when we know damn well we're not a contending team.

Feel like the approach should be develop the young player and if we win games and make the play-in cool. If we lose and don't make the play-in we have a lottery pick and got a young player some meaningful to see if has something and we don't need to look at that position in the draft.

Read an article that we don't actually have any direction of what type of franchise or team we want to be. So the GM and the coach is just winging it and the product on the floor looks like it.

I’ve always hated Ben Simmons because naturally been a fuck nigga for years

But I have always been intrigued by his potential as a player because I know the player that he can be and I do want to see it one day

Him leaving the Sixers means I might see it and it makes me hate him a bit less

Gotta give Beal a reason to stay though and you just traded for porzingis and at some point you have to build good habits and a winning culture

kuzma won a championship and he’s a leader on your team. He would want to push for the play in and on paper you honestly have the talent to make the play in if you can establish what you did at the beginning of the season again

trez being gone helps defensively and Beal didn’t do well at the start anyways so I don’t see why you can’t replicate things

then again rui is back and he’s ass on D

I agree about establishing habits and winning culture. That's why I said don't tank but developing a young player while still trying to make the play-in is better for getting Beal to stay cause we'll have another decent piece that could play next year when he comes back if he develops with real minutes and having a summer to work on his game.

I liked Rui attitude when he first came back. Gotta see if he still got that spark or if went back to kind of playing soft.
