4. Since you most likely gave up the pick in the draft and you run the risk of not only not winning in the play in but also even making the play in what was the point of trading for CJ now?

you have to compete with the blazers who really might just try to lose games, but you also now have to deal with the spurs and kings who just traded for Sabonis. You very easily could be the 12th or 13th seed but let’s say you win games. Do you think you can even get past the lakers in the standings (I don’t) or in the play in game?

I said before it’s akin to the bulls trading for vucevic and gave up picks to get a guy who didn’t even help them make the playoffs.

1. We gave up a first rounder this year that was top 14 protected (it's top four protected now with the CJ traded we traded the 1st pick twice LMAO) . I didn't like the trade tbh because I don't think he was worth a 1st, but he is a streaker shooter so some games he looks like Dame, other games he look like he doesn't belong in the league. I'm meh on the move now tbh.

2. I agree and ALOT of Pels fans agree with you bro. Hopefully Willy and staff figure the rotations out quicker because when we were 1-12 it was because our rotations were shit but then we started playing .500 basketball. Wille already alluded to Devonte likely coming of the bench soon so hopefully Hayes can start again but in the long run Hayes has to be a better professional coming off the bench and not only have inspired games when he is only starting.

3. BI is passive (sometimes too much) whenever talented players is on the court. His passing has taking a huge leap this year so I get it, but at the same time he and CJ will figure out the touches duty but this shit will likely take time and I view this CJ move more for next season vs this whole play in tournament shit.

4 .The point was optics. We are trying to change the perspective of the Pelicans originization being a loser. We seen with FA, folks don't want to come here so through trades we will have to make this team a winner. Folks has to remember at the end of the day these ball players are humans. BI been in the league for 7 years and has yet seen the playoffs. Also you want to make sure you show Zion camp you are committed to winning as well as David Griffin trying to make a win now trade to save his job. Me personally I was in the group of trying to get a lottery pick again but at the end of the day it reflects poorly on this franchise if we ain't trying to win or get better.

At worst CJ is the president of the NBA players association so he is heavily respected, and will be the first guard we had since CP3 that can get their own bucket while being a leader. At best, with a full healthy roster we will be a offensive dynamo but a mediocre defensive squad.

Absolutely worst case our pick is top 4 protected and maybe the Lakers pick converts lol

The play in tournament will be a challenge and idk honestly, but worst case scenario I truly believe this was a move for next season which I'm okay with because getting a motivated and healthy Zion is like getting a new player (a pick) lol

Brooklyn really about to lose 15 in a row since Kyrie not playing the next 4. I read Kyrie only elgible to play 8 games the rest of the way. These dudes might not even be in the play in
