Bruh, Gasol didn't play that well in the finals. He made little difference. Chances are JV would have played better.

He didn't play well in the finals but he handled vucevic, embiid, and Giannis physically and mentally the 3 rounds prior. That gasol/jv trade was key and pushed us over the top.

He's having a great year so far with the Pelicans despite their early season struggles.

I'm pretty sure no one is saying he's going to win MVP or anything but he's made more 3s in 20 something games than he's done in the past 3-4 seasons or some shit.

If they make it to the playoffs and he comes up short, then so be it. Until then, I've been enjoying watching a competent big play for the Pelicans.
