2021/22 NBA Season Thread

The trade deadline is always the most exciting and underwhelming time of the season and I dont expect this year to be any different....but Im hoping for an active deadline and Im ready to be let down as always

So its looking like Indiana, Sacramento and Atlanta are the teams looking for a major roster shake up

Philly is going to be a factor with Ben Simmons

Dame off the market for now but Portland probably going to use this time to retool one more time

Houston has veterans they're trying to trade

Dallas and Boston should be trying to make a move to improve their roster

I think San Antonio is going to be a dark horse to make a move even though they never do anything

Really interested to see what direction Toronto goes...feels like they're just one high level creator way from being right back in contention

Wizards should be active

Grizz another sleeper to make a big move

Sexton is too high, Zion too low, Porter too low.

Anfernee Simons probably should be on the list.

Malik Monk probably deserves consideration.

Yeah sexton I was too lazy to drop and I made MPJ and Zion that low because of their health issues

simons was last on my original list but I took him off at the last min and forgot to make him an honorable mention

malik monk I flat out didn’t think about

a testament to how meh he’s been since being drafted

But surely Malik's recent performance suggests that the problem was his previous team and not his talent.

Monk averages one more point this season in 6 more mins a game

underwhelming defender overall
Not much of a playmaker
Weak rebounder

He’s been very decent though as far as efficiency I’ll give him that but I know that’s from playing with Lebron but even so I wouldn’t say he’s better than anybody on that list

also I don’t see monk getting much better as a player at all. To me he hit his ceiling already

I would also take haliburton, Wagner, Gafford, rui over him
