I don't see Miami or Nebraska getting back to dominance for a long time. Nebraska has obvious reasons. There is no talent in state and they will not be able to compete with OSU, Michigan, PSU or MSU in the Big Ten.

Miami, the school and the athletic department don't wanna be great imo. The school wants to distance itself from the image of having a thug program in of the 80s and early 2000s. It sucks cuz those teams made Miami the academic power it is right now. Miami is a top 5 program in International Business and it's school of medicine is amazing. They want to be known for its academics and not the football program.

The athletic department continues to hire the wrong coaches, it made no sense they had the worse facilities for years. They keep bringing in talent from south florida but they are poorly coached and undisciplined.
