If I'm Houston, buddy ain't going nowhere. Players shouldn't be involved in upper management decisions anyway, potential conflict of interest. Has your job ever asked you to hire your Boss's boss. The GM is the coaches boss, players could potentially start suggesting people they cool w and shit, to put them in position of power. Suggesting players is one thing, but players should not be involved in GM hires and shit. IMO

I think people are severely underestimating the assets that it would require to obtain a top 5-7 franchise QB in his prime via trade. Theres a reason these types of trades NEVER happen. Houston has all the leverage, they dont HAVE to do this.
Jaguars, which I didnt think about until this thread, presents an interesting scenario.
This is not a WR or CB we talkin bout. This a bonafide franchise QB in his prime. Who is under contract for 6 more years

IMO the Jags, Dolphins and Jets are the only teams with a real shot to pull this trade off if Houston wanted to trade Watson
