Markets mean NOTHING in football

Why even bring that up?

It kinda does. If you're on the Cowboys you're always on TV (no matter how shitty the team is) and more marketable. If you're on the Jags you have to earn that exposure through wins.

Look at the exposure of OBJ on the Giants vs Julio or Hopkins.

Exposure is only for endorsements. And you still have to be a great player and actually marketable

Great marketable QBs get those regardless.

Mahomes, Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, P. Manning

So let’s just stop with that one. Just because you’re on a top market team don’t mean anything.

It’s all about skills when it comes the NFL

Endorsements equal money.

Dak has just as many endorsements as them, and they're all HOF locks with MVP's and SB rings.

Markets matter a little in football, not as much as the other sports but it does matter tiny bit. Mainly in how fast your ascension is.
Team Branding matters more though.

Whether that branding is from the team being a good team in the actual moment or just by playing for one of the prestige franchises.

For instance, say Big Ben retires and they draft Mac Jones.
& Week one next season Mac goes 17/27 290 2TDs
And Fields on the Jags goes 20/27 275 2TD’s + 1 rushing

More light will be shed on Mac’s week one through national media because the Steelers are a marquee franchise +winner and jags are not. Meanwhile if Fields has that stat line on the Jets week one. It’ll get a more mentions because it’s a NY team even though they’re not a winner either.

Long run the better QB will be better marketed.

Dak came on the scene as a rookie and won 13 games 1seed with 23TDs and 4INTs with 4 running TDs

That’s why he got endorsements.

You think all them Cowboys QBs after Aikman and before Romo got that? Nope because for a QB your play matters

What kinda casual fan post is this

You think the espn n nbc are pay all kinda money to show Jacksonville gms in primetime? hell no.

If Mahomes or Pittsburg or ARod and his squad was playing

Great organizations/ great QBs >>>>>>

I’m willing to bet big money folks rather see lil market NOLA, GB, KC, Pittsburg over big market NYJ, LAR and LAR also to a lesser extent Houston.

just give it up

Im taking about Jacksonville. Why tf are u bringing up other cities/markets...

Jus admit Jacksonville is a shit market n it wouldn't be beneficial for fields go to there.

You can admit you were wrong, its ok. No judgment here

The market means nothing.

Now if you said organization, then yea. But a coach and QB can change all that.
