It looks good on their resume but nah. Does Trent Dilfer get credit for the Ravens first super bowl? It wasn't until The Colts decided to play defense and run the ball more before Peyton got his ring finally. Football is a team sport. You have to have good players on both sides of the ball with a coach and coordinators that are competent. You can't win with one player. Just ask Barry Sanders. A qb can put you in situations to win but you need more than him. They get too much credit imo.

i guess not when its inconvenient for ones argument

my stance has been despite stafford's passing achievements, it hasn't translated to any type of success. he's been on that team since 09. he's the common denominator. he can't be left out of the conversation when discussing that teams failures, especially since he plays a position that's deemed the most important on the field

so when i said kap can replace stafford, i meant that. no kap isn't the better QB, but what has stafford done for the lions that makes him so irreplaceable?

QB wins was never a stat, regardless of argument.
Titans beat the ravens in the most recent playoffs and Tannehill threw for 88 yards. He really getting credit for a win? For what? If anybody should’ve gotten a “win” it should’ve been Derrick Henry. Why don’t we have a stat called WR Wins? Or LB Wins? Etc...

By your own admission, replacing Stafford with Kap is a downgrade. Stafford can be replaced but not by Kap.

4th quarter comebacks are stats that quarterbacks get credited for. not the coach, not the team. the quarterback. so there’s that QB win stat you said doesn’t exist

as far as Ryan’s playoff performance is concerned, a win is a win. QB’s get credit when the team wins and blame when they lose

we all know who carried that team but like 5th letter said, I don’t make the rules

and i don’t see a downhill trajectory for the lions if they were to replace stafford with kap, because there not going anywhere with stafford anyway

there’s a reason i said kap can replace stafford and not patrick maholmes, lamar jackson, russell wilson etc.

If Kaep was better than stafford he would have been on a team kneeling or not.

Every year inde Kaep the team got worse. EVERY YEAR and could even light up teams in garbage time when they played prevent defense lol




I’ll take Stafford 10 of 10 and every coach would too
