I was watching yall very closely when yall traded for PJ because I thought he was going out yall over the top but he was underutilized with Toronto imo especially in the playoffs

Hawks getting MORE picks back when they don’t need them but instead need to consolidate the young players they have for a player that’s gonna be there longer than one season

also they get a Hayward that while decent you giving up 2/3 between Reddish, Hunter, and Huerter

I mean yeah it’s 34 mil expiring but they have 44mil already this off season and if a Kawhi or Giannis isnt coming then you gonna use that money on who? Oladipo? Clayface? You can sign them next season while keeping Hunter and them already
 
Trash deal for the hawks

Dedmon deal expires the year after Hayward’s anyway. Plus at 13 mil per he can be moved at the deadline easily to a playoff team looking to bolster their roster. Atlanta more than likely not getting a big fish 21’ FA anyway so rushing for an expiring is meh.

6th pick plus keeping one of those young guys > 14 and hoping on a prayer that 26 x 30 hit.
 
Also rookies coming in gonna have no summer league to get acclimated to the system or rookie symposium/orientation

they gonna get drafted and then start training camp like a week and a half later lol
