You know why. But if you just look at AD hard its a technical
I know I have definitely gained a different pov since I've been refereeing but I don't understand how they have all this training and technology and miss obvious blatant calls like this one only to release a fucking last two min report confirming what everyone else already knew.

I get when shit is happening live in real time you miss some things but damn that was a terrible no call

that's where you and I differ...if i didnt have a lil one, i would've really tried to network to get into professional refereeing. They dont call obvious shit b/c casuals keep talking about the interruption and flow of the game.

whether its the nba, local rec center, high school ,etc...the positioning for the 3 officials is the same. You have the same coverage of responsibility. You have a primary area of coverage and a secondary area.

That foul on any level is a foul and you can see it if you are in proper positioning anticipating the play.

I mean, i aint gonna bore you with all the technical shit, but nobody sitting on a couch wearing a jersey while they watch a game is in a position to question officials. I get it though, its the thing to do when your team is on the short end of the deal but refereeing is a game within the game. But i've spoken too much about it. It was an obvious foul that should've been called.

It’s not just casuals. Coaches and players say the same thing.

besides a dude raising his hand to take the foul from another teammate, nobody in the nba thinks they foul

coaches are doing what coaches do and that's trying to work the officials.

you can literally call a foul on every play but where's the fun in that? but then the other side of it is not being so tight with the whistle only for the players to look at you dumbfounded when you let a marginal foul go. I'm not talking about super obvious fouls but the fact that LBJ pretty much steamrolls his way to the paint and rarely is called for charging should shut him up on the chance someone makes a pinky contact with his wrist on his way to the goal.

If refs called every call NBA would fold.

So y’all swallow y’all whistle because y’all know you can call it how it suppose to be called game would be shitty.

you talking all this casual shit but the entire game would be trash if you call everything you see.

a foul is a foul no matter if it’s a rap on the arm or swipe on the arm

Agreed

Some and I do mean some fouls aren't created equal though. That changes as you move up in competition levels but the NBA pissed me off calling a ton of travels in the regular season (which if they are legitimate travels, you call them) but then started letting shit go again in the playoffs.
