End of 2019 was straight ass for me up until a few weeks ago. That Jamaica trip helped me until it was back to reality.
Quit my old career, started new career, reenlisted in school to finish getting my degree for human services, finally decided to take my meds as prescribed, made peace with inner circle beefs.
Was in the grocery store, at the checkout, trying to remember what song Nas sampled for it ain't hard to tell...then it hit me..I wasnt thinking about being followed by staff, I didnt pay no mind to nobody eyeing me down, I was completely unbothered.
I was at peace for the first time that I could remember in years..
