he has been nothing but the ultimate professional during his tenure

i personally believe NOLA can be a very great bball market, but it doesnt help when both your two previous playoff exits were at the hands of the eventual WC champs.

I observe this year with a different perspective than most, so at the end of the day, if he leaves, cool...if he stays...great.

Yet in January of every year is when the magic start looking towards the draft

do they want to just have all the players go to the bigger markets or do they actually promote and invest into smaller market teams by making them more accessible than 3 national tv games a year

The NBA is just trying to prepare for life after Bron. They dont want the fall off of when Jordan retired for the 2nd time and when Kobe fully ascended.

When Kobe was on top, Bron was already a big enough force where the NBA knew there wouldnt be a fall off when Kobe fell off.

At the moment though, there are huge NBA stars but only Bron transcends the NBA.

There isnt a star big enough to carry the NBA regardless of market size like a young Bron could, so they have to push stars to big markets to prepare. At the moment thats AD. Expect this to happen with the Greek Freak starting next season.

I can buy this but then it contradicts everything they've said about how they want small market teams to thrive and be able to compete. The nba needs to realign. Put the pelicans with AD in the East and things get back to bring interesting

Watched bout 3 minutes today and turned it off. This is all I'm watching this year.
