I made fun of him at the time he said this, but Collin Sexton really stepped things up in the 2nd half of the season. Dude almost tripled his 3 point attempts per game. And was shooting over 40% on them. I still dont think he is a pure PG, but he could be in the Kemba mold if he fulfills his potential.

Im dying at these Frank Vogel stories.

Not gonna list names but it seems like the Lakers were in the process of talking to a handful of coaches. All the coaches were asking for 5 years and to be allowed to pick their own assistants.

Out the blue, Vogel, who wasnt even one of the coaches being looked at by the Lakers found a way to let them know he was cool with 3 years and taking on Jason Kidd as his assistant.

Dude just straight said fuck the other coaches on the market and fuck the value of job and took the job getting less years and all the other wild demands of the Lakers.

He a scumbag for that.

I woulda did the same thing though. Shit making 15Ms the next 3 years beats some coaching fraternity honor shit.
